Denver street art remembers World Hepatitis Day 2015!
Hep C Connection is hosting street artists on Sunday, July 26 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in remembrance of World Hepatitis Day 2015. The street art fair will be held in the alley behind Denver’s Owl & Orchid Tattoo at 3928 Federal Blvd, Denver, CO 80211. Attendees will watch artists paint urban wall murals, receive free hepatitis C testing and gather information about the many public and private organizations who provide support for hepatitis C patients and providers.
Celebrating 20 years, Hep C Connection was founded in 1995 as a patient-to-patient support and awareness group. Today, Hep C Connection has grown into a unique and comprehensive model of public awareness and prevention strategies, educational programs, and support services for both patients and providers.
Hepatitis C can be cured and new treatments take less time. Unfortunately most people who have the virus don’t know they have it until their livers are compromised.
